Optimists party

 

More than 70 optimists accepted DRWA's invitation to the 1st optimists party held in the agency's premises.

Originally intended to be an after-work party from 5 to 8 p.m., the event actually went on a record-breaking 7 hours longer than planned before finally coming to a close.

The reason for celebrating was not only our highly successful year 2009 but also and above all our intention of setting a positive, optimistic sign for 2010.

The drink of the evening consisted of 117 bottles of "Optimiste" sparkling wine from the VDP Blankenhorn winery in Schliengen. The outstanding catering was provided by the crew of Freiburg Theatercafé.

Many thanks to all who came, joined in, celebrated and helped to make the evening a resounding success: the next party is a dead cert!
